Sorry it is only in stereo for the time being. I do expect to get a 5.1 track any moment. But if you can not wait, I do have the HEVC 10bit HD encodes up with AC3 Stereo sound. I am looking forward to Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) and I think that it is soon time to do a full on X-Men and Deadpool screening in my home theater to get psyched up for the release on June 26th. Also of note, is that this is the REDBAND trailer and it has several instances of the ‘F’ word and some gore. So if you are too young to see the film without an adult guardian then please do not download it.

I have also added the IMAX Promo to Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) page, in 4K with the IMAX 5 channel track. It is on YouTube, so hopefully it is ok for me to share here as well. Be warned though that it may contain some spoilers.

I had planned to upload this sooner, but I got a little side tracked. Better late than never I suppose. The first trailer for Borderlands (2024) is now available in 10 bit HD with the 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio sound track. Borderlands (2024) is the film adaptation of the video game series “Borderlands”, a role-playing first-person looter shooter video game set in a space Western science fantasy setting. So basically anything goes I guess. The film stars Cate Blanchett, Ariana Greenblatt, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Jamie Lee Curtis. Directed by Eli Roth – who directed the Short Film (fake trailer) Thanksgiving (2007) as part of the Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez Grindhouse (2007) double feature. Which I love, by the way. Roth directed the feature length Thanksgiving (2023) based upon the fake trailer / short film from 2007. Now, I wish someone would make a feature length Werewolf Women of the S.S.

The first trailer for Joker: Folie À Deux (2024) (French for “Madness for Two”) is now available, giving us our first look at Joaquin Phoenix’s reprisal of the Joker and Lada Gaga as his love interest Harley Quinn. Joker: Folie À Deux (2024) will be shown in IMAX theaters, and there will also be some IMAX 70mm film screenings, according to IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond. I have to say, the trailer is stunningly beautiful in a dark and disturbing way; and the best way to see it (aside from a cinema or IMAX screen) is in a well equipped home theater using one of the high quality encodes available at the Joker: Folie À Deux (2024) page. Available in 4K, with 10 bit video and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack it faithfully preserves the look, feel and sound of of the film. Joker: Folie À Deux (2024) comes to cinemas and IMAX on October 4, 2024.

Quite a few horror movies around these days and an upcoming entry is the first chapter of a trilogy: The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024). I added the first trailer in 4K with the official 5.1 audio. The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024) is directed by Renny Harlin (The Exorcist: The Beginning) and stars Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale) as a woman who is enjoying time with her boyfriend in the woods. However, things take a turn when three strangers show up to terrorize them. You can find the first trailer here.

Trailer 1 for Boy Kills World (2024) is now available in 4K with 10 bit HEVC encodes and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Directed by German director Moritz Mohr, Boy Kills World (2024) promises a heart pounding blend of action, violence, and martial arts. The film stars Bill Skarsgård, Jessica Rothe, and Famke Janssen (who was great in GoldenEye).

The story centers on a young man known simply as “Boy”, portrayed by the Bill Skarsgård. Boy’s life takes a dark turn when his family is brutally murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Famke Janssen), the crazy matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty. Boy Kills World (2024) arrives in cinemas on April 26, 2024.

Is anyone else thinking: “the name’s not boy…it’s Roy”?

Let’s get started with the first trailer for the fourth film in the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence “Bad Boys” franchise: Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024). I thought that the third film was pretty fun, and I really liked how they maintained the distinctive style set by Michael Bay in the first film as well as the character continuity. Even the goofy kid who came to date the daughter was back. Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024) expands upon some details from the previous film, especially the death of Capt. Howard. The first trailer is available in 1080p resolution (1920×804) with the official 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. You can download your favorite format here.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! It is time for the first trailer for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). The long awaited Tim Burton sequel to the 1998 Tim Burton film Beetlejuice, which starred a young and slim Alec Baldwin (I met his brother Daniel), Geena Davis, along with Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder. The last three make a return to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to reprise their roles. Since the trailer just dropped on YouTube an hour ago I do not yet have a 5.1 mix, but you will find 10 bit HEVC encodes with PCM stereo audio at the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). Still better than YouTube.

I was hoping to have the 5.1 track for Alien: Romulus (2024) but I could only get a German version. I will have a 5.1 English track soon. But for now we will go with the PCM Stereo version which is also encoded in 10 bit HEVC video. Still way better than YouTube.

I will also upload Beetlejuice Beetlejuice as soon as I get it, which I expect to be any moment. I will need to do the transcoding first, so give me a bit. In the meantime head over to the Alien: Romulus (2024) page and check out trailer 1.

The second trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) dropped today, and while I do not yet have the 5.1 mix I added my encodes with the stereo mix. All the .mkv files, including the 10 bit HEVC have the lossless PCM stereo track. There is also a .mp4 with an AC3 encoded stereo track. I should have versions with 5.1 audio, and maybe even 4K video later in the week. Trailer 2 can be found at the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) page.

I also quietly updated the Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire (2024) page to include the 4K IMAX Trailer 7, which is similar to the online trailer 3, but it has a scene at the end that expands from widescreen 2.40:1 to IMAX 1.90:1 at the end. It is in 4K too. I have had this for a few weeks, and have not posted it out of fear that I don’t have the authorization to do so, but it is out there in the wild now so I think I should be ok.
